SAFETY GUIDELINES
- Antics is a parentally supervised play area. Please observe your child/children at all times – indoors and outside. The doors/gate to Antics will not be locked, so make sure your child/children do not escape!
- There should be no more than 4 children on the bouncy castle at any one time. Parents must supervise their children on the castle. Children should not play on the castle if they are higher than the height of the walls and they are not allowed to climb up the walls. Children must not be on the castle if they are still chewing food. Adults are not permitted on the castle. No one is permitted to go around the back of the castle at any time.
- In the event of a power failure to the bouncy castle, there is sufficient time to evacuate the children safely. Please ensure your child comes off of the castle immediately and follow any instructions from the staff.
- Please keep all food and drink away from the soft play areas. Please be particularly careful if carrying hot food or drinks.
- Please escort your child to the toilets. Beware of hot water and be careful that fingers don’t accidentally get caught in the doors. Toilet areas will be inspected regularly, however, please report any problems so that they can be rectified quickly.
- Please report any ‘accidents’ or spillages so that they can be cleaned up immediately.
- Toys and play equipment are inspected regularly. However, if you see anything that is damaged or broken, please report it immediately.
- Please be careful of play balls on the floor and make your children aware of the different height levels of the flooring (particularly toddlers).
- Shoes must be worn at all times when playing outside.
- The floor mats are a safety feature at Antics and not toys – please ensure your children do not remove them. Similarly, the fence should not be climbed over/on.
- Please do not enter the kitchen area unless asked to do so by a member of staff.
- The first aid box is contained within the kitchen area. Please ask a member of staff for assistance.
- In the event of a fire, please ensure that you and your children evacuate the building quickly and follow any instructions given.
- The staff reserve the right to ask customers to leave if their behaviour or conduct is deemed unacceptable.
- Parties Only - Supervision of the children will not be the responsibility of Antics staff. Party bags may contain toys with small parts. We attempt to match the contents to the ages of the children. However, this is not always possible & parents must assess the suitability of toys and adhere to any safety notices. Antics will not accept responsibility for accidents arising from party bag toys. Please note that it is not advisable to bring piñatas to parties, as there is no-where suitable to hang them.
